Synchonicities are a fun part of the path!

Do you ever notice that whenever you're ready to embark on something that feels 'spot-on', doors fly open, and an array of synchronicities appear? You may have no idea what comes next, but if you remain open and trust that whatever shows up as little gifts from the Universe, aligning with where you're heading, incredible things start to happen.

That's why I like to view life through miracle glasses and celebrate simple, yet profound, coincidences as Nature's gentle way of saying, "Here you go, sweetie, answer my call, and we'll embark on this journey together."

Talking about this topic excites me endlessly—it opens my heart. It's exhilarating to know that the Divine is right here with me, whether I’m facing a challenging situation or creating a video. Everything is as it should be.

Here are two recent examples of how things innocently fell into place, like pieces of a puzzle.

Before I wrote last week's email about getting back in the game, levelling up, and embracing my talent for lightheartedness—where I used the term 'spiritual comedian'—I had a conversation with Shaz, my marketing wrangler. I call her a wrangler because she's constantly nudging me back into my corral to create my weekly emails and social media posts. I expressed my desire to reduce my busyness and focus on writing my book about embracing change with trust and grace. However, she interpreted it as, "I just want to go into my nest and hibernate." I mentioned that I could always re-enter the world once the book was completed, probably not until next year. Being a recovering perfectionist, it takes me forever to put my posts together, as I fuss over every word. I find it creatively satisfying but very time-consuming.

Shaz kindly enlightened me, explaining that if I waited, I'd have to start from scratch in reconnecting with people and it would take a while to regain momentum. Her point resonated with me. Interestingly, the thought of re-entering the world felt daunting yet intriguing. "Choose one morning a week for your email and create one social media post. Keep creating on a weekly basis so that you feel comfortable and anticipate writing, creating, filming, posting, etc. The process will become more familiar, you won't take as long, and you won't procrastinate as much. This will boost your confidence without overwhelming you," she suggested. I agreed—it felt right.

So, it was interesting that I already had a walk date set up with my good friend Juhli, a social media maven and my mentor. When I confirmed our meeting time via text, she asked if I could help her shoot a few short videos and take some photos to inspire people to step out of their comfort zone and enjoy making videos. "Absolutely, I'd love to assist! Could you help me with a few simple videos and shots to use in the future?" She was more than happy to help—she’s a delight, as always.

As she got into the car, I laughed. We were dressed exactly alike: blue jeans, tops, long navy sweaters. "Well, this is a blatant display of synchronicity. Let's embrace it," she mused. So, we headed to Cadboro Bay, which boasts a long beach and a protective cove at the end, where we set up our gear. It was a beautiful sunny day, and the tide was out, leaving ample sandy beach for shooting. Since Juhli and I had created a funny short dance video a while back, we improvised a simple routine on the spot, practiced it a few times, set up the camera, and turned on some music. Perfection was not on the menu. But, most importantly, we had fun and enjoyed each other's company. We achieved our goals together. While I often work on my posts alone, it was uplifting to have a supportive friend with a shared objective. I encourage you to reach out and find someone who shares your direction and join forces.

Lately the synchronicities seemed to have multiplied – that’s probably because I am excited and celebrate these coincidences when they happen. They may be simple or complex, but if you view them as prods from your soul, they will guide you towards your destiny. You always have the final say, of course. You can resist the nudging due to fear or perceive these events as the next step on your yellow brick road, leading you home.

Sometimes, we're blind to our own direction. I wanted to go in one protective direction, but Nature urged me through Shaz and Juhli, to hone my skills and get out there, while still honoring my book. At this point, I have no idea what I'll do with this 'spiritual comedian' possibility, but I know it's right. Juhli, Shaz, and other friends, are there to support me going forward. It's beautiful when your friends see your gifts and encourage you to bring them to life. You are blessed to have them in your life.

Plus, acknowledging seemingly coincidental occurrences as proof that you're being showered with gifts from the Universe can transform any situation from gray into a rainbow.

When you keep your heart focused on your dream, let the Divine drive the car, and act, you can be assured of an interesting ride.

Lots of hugs. ~ Deborah

I'd like to share a few more stories that further illustrate the magic of trusting the Universe. Check out my chapter “Revolving Doors: The Universe Is Your Partner” as part of the Voices of the 21st Century: Women Empowered Through Passion and Purpose, that I co-authored with 45 other women. I think you will be inspired to trust your own sweet whispers.
