Yoga is a never-ending journey of self-discovery which inspires me to keep learning, growing and integrating the subtler aspects of Being for a fuller, more dynamic and compassionate life.

Deborah is a Clarity Coach, certified Wellness Educator, Therapeutic Yoga Teacher, Buteyko Breathing Educator, Meditation Instructor, Workshop Leader, Co-author, Speaker, Vitality & Health Tips Content Creator, and designer of the Clarity Process.

She is a visionary who embraces the power, beauty and grace within each individual. She previously created, owned and operated several successful businesses in Toronto, including Yoga Spirit (now YogaU Online), an international online continuing education hub that serves yoga teachers and practitioners with online courses presented by renowned teachers.

She is the creator of the Clarity Process, an intimate exploration that unlocks what’s under the surface, naturally bringing you to a place of knowing, so you can move forward with purpose. The Clarity Process helps if you are looking for a life change, needing help with a business decision, wanting a new business or personal perspective, understanding an immediate issue, longing to discover your talents and gifts in alignment with your values or have a health issue and want to explore what’s creating the block and steps to move forward with courage and joy.

Together with a remarkable group of passionate international women, she contributed to the International Best Selling Voices of the 21st Century: Empowered Women for Passion and Purpose. This experience deeply resonated with her, reinforcing her belief in the transformative power of shared stories to inspire, uplift, and drive meaningful change. For her, it was more than just a collaboration—it was a journey of self-discovery, a celebration of purpose, and a testament to the collective strength of women united by a common goal.

She is currently penning her life story, with the aim of inspiring individuals to embrace change as a profound journey toward fulfillment, personal growth, and spiritual evolution. Alongside this, she is crafting a collection of Sun Salutations eBooks tailored for wellness and spiritual seekers at all levels, designed to help cultivate strength, flexibility, and overall health. These works serve as an invitation to age gracefully and thrive on our evolutionary path.

For more than 50 years, Yoga asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing) and meditation have been an integral part of Deborah’s lifestyle. Her unique teaching ability combines the richness of postures, the power of breathing, and the silence of meditation, which motivates and sustains her students to explore their full potential. Deborah has a talent for educating her students in a fun and inspiring manner.

Deborah continues to expand her knowledge of mind/body enhancement practices for the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual benefit of her students and herself. She enjoyed teaching Transcendental Meditation in Toronto and continues to enjoy her twice daily practice. Deborah’s yoga asana teaching is influenced by the traditions of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Sivananda, Krishnamacharya, Iyengar, and Kundalini, among others. Over the years she has had the honour of studying with notable teachers such as Swami Vishnu Devananda, TKV Desikachar, Patrick McKeown, Robin Rothenberg, Julie Gudmestad, Judith Hanson Lasater, Thomas Myers, Donna Farhi, Elise Miller, Richard Miller, Amy Weintraub, Leslie Kaminoff, Paul Grilley and many more. She enjoys being a mentor and helping students become knowledgeable teachers of the breath for Robin Rothenberg’s Restoring Prana teacher training program.

Based in Victoria, BC, Deborah works with clients around the world. She is a proud member of the Women Speakers Association, Wize Move Society, Female Wave of Change, and a contributor for Breath Hub App.
